Technical set-up for interviews
T
Tamara
- microphone is available
- paid zoom account to record interviews is available
- mic adapter (splitter) ordered, arrived today!
- input from Talis: recording each interview locally, separately, then edit together. Gives better audio quality. I need editing help, possibly Mutenguna?
- Tobi offered help with recording episodes locally through zoom, and editing them together with Audacity

Zoom is a good tool for the formats like Open Mic. I understand the benefits of the click-and-join feature of the Telegram. But in case you choose to use Zoom, I'm pretty experienced moderator (hosted 300people-conferences)

Olga: you are full of surprises dear 🤓

I like editing, what kind of help do you need?
Thomas Seiger
I would suggest to keep the effort low in the very beginning to avoid dependecies and possible frustration. :)
also telegram in general is a valid free option for recorded calls.
just saying. it is on you and your sacral to decide at the end of the day. 🤍

Thomas Seiger: I always strive for the highest possible quality with the least effort. That would probably also make sense here. There is nothing worse for individual gates/channels than bad acoustics.

Thomas Seiger: thanks for your perspective, this takes some pressure off of me. Low edit/ no edit was the original idea

Talis WAO: I will try your idea, if I get some tech help from someone
